Mono Beatles

Meet the Beatles mono collection was released January 20, 1964. It was recorded by Capitol Records, and was the second Beatles` album released in the United States. Beginning with the night the Beatles premiered on the Ed Sullivan show, they changed music history. Over 70 million people watched their debut.

The Beatles were an English group from Liverpool. The guys in the Beatles were George Harrison, Ringo Starr, John Lennon, and Paul McCartney. The songs on Meet the Beatles mono, and on the other four Capital albums, were played on the radio in America constantly. The Beatles were constantly mobbed by screaming fans every time they were seen in public.

When Hello Goodbye was released in 1967, it quickly became the number one single in both the UK and the United States. Their first movie, A Hard Day`s Night, grossed over a million dollars the first week. Shortly afterwards, they opened the Apple boutique in London, which was unsuccessful, due to poor management.

Capital Records actually recorded four Beatles albums. However, they turned down the first Beatles album. Meet the Beatles mono is still considered to be a valuable collector`s item. Meet the Beatles mono contains several of the Beatles best-known songs, including I Want to Hold Your Hand and I Saw Her Standing There.
